Perry offers many options for visitors, weekenders, families looking for affordable fun and housing or investors seeking business opportunities. Main Street is lined with Victorian homes while downtown features classic brick buildings. It hosts an annual Holiday DeLights Festival in December with Santa and a winter parade of fire trucks.

Silver Lake outlet, once the power source of Perry's early textile and feed mills, flows under and behind Main Street. Silver Lake offers affordable cottages, YMCA/Christian programs/camps and an 18-hole public golf course.

Got kids? Student athletes proudly represent the Perry Yellowjackets, Sectional Champs in tennis, golf, softball and basketball. Perry is a 20-30 minute drive from several colleges, and the Village has a new Elementary-Middle School that shares a campus with a High School. Parents are actively involved as partners in education. PCS Alumni meet annually, a tradition that has continued for nearly 130 years!

Perry's village park hosts school tennis matches and Western New York’s largest adult softball tournament. In 2014, a new splash pad water feature opened to rave reviews from smiling splashers of all ages. In 2015, a favorite neighbor, Letchworth State Park, was voted #1 State Park in the United States!

The SUNY ATTAIN Center offers computer training for people to learn or refine their technological skills.

Smell the cookies? The yummy scents from Creative Food Ingredients' daily baking, including Hershey’s Cookie Kisses(tm), are irresistible!

Perry is also home to American Classic Outfitters, makers of NFL, NBA, WNBA, The Longest Yard movie plus 70 university team jerseys. Now the official USA supplier for Adidas(tm), ACO continues the textile tradition here.

Miniature golf? Yes! At the Charcoal Corral, home of the Silver Lake Twin Drive-In Theater. All this within a stone's throw or outlet walk of Letchworth State Park.

Art? Visit the Stowell-Wiles Art Gallery at Perry Public Library and the Arts Council for Wyoming County or one of several artists' studios in the community.

Chalk Art Festival & Taste of Summer  

Trained artists create pastel masterpieces, teens compete for chalking prizes, and youngsters chalk to their heart's content. Enjoy live music, shopping and the Taste of Summer, where fine dining meets tent feasting. Check it out!

A unique cycling event with two route options, each with fully stocked rest stops and friendly faces.

Both loops begin at the Village Park, and end on Main Street.

Founded in 2011, SOTL is Wyoming County's first live outdoor professional summer theatre festival, held in Perry on the shores of Silver Lake.
