This is a story of a small American town, Perry, NY which is revitalizing itself by discovering and embracing the learning that one of its greatest assets is its people.
A generational gap is being bridged with a unique high school Language Arts project linking students to community members who lived and fought during WWII.
The project is introducing the young people to the challenges, sacrifices, and virtues of those who came before them and to celebrate their contributions to the fabric of the community.
