Perry Main Street Association

The Perry Main Street Association (PMSA) is a dedicated downtown advocacy coalition with a track record of accomplishments, a committed Executive Board, and over 190 contributors (including members who also support the group with a financial contribution) engaged in a variety of short and long-term initiatives.

This volunteer-led organization continues to serve as an umbrella group for all downtown events, long-range master planning, short-term initiatives, and promotional ventures. PMSA undertakes not only promotional activities, but also serves as the liaison for business owners, building owners, downtown stakeholders and committed citizens.

Its mission, stated in its bylaws, is:

“to re-establish Main Street as the heart of the community."

PMSA acts as:

  • 1. an advocacy group
  • 2. an empowerment coalition
  • 3. the voice of downtown
  • 4. an information center for individuals and businesses
  • 5. a catalyst for action as an umbrella group, and
  • 6. the human side of downtown revitalization.

About is a project of the PMSA, originally undertaken in collaboration with the Town of Perry. It was re-launched as a project of the PMSA only in July 2010. It is being built as a resource for the community of Perry, the whole of the group of people who have an interest in Perry, NY -- town and village residents, our neighbors, former residents, future residents and visitors alike. Please enjoy, explore and come back often to check the Community Calendar!
