    The inaugural New York State Puppet Festival featuring international traditional & contemporary puppetry is coming from June 14-24, 2018.

    What's in store? 

    Ten days, over 30 artists, 19 shows, 5 public workshops, 1 puppet art exhibition, 1 puppet film screening, 1 panel discussion, post-show Q&A with artists, opening & closing receptions!

    The New York State Puppet Festival is presented by Josh Rice Projects and supported by grants from WCRAI and ACWC. Sponsored by the Perry Main Street Association.

    Please join us for the 2018 edition of the Tour de Perry! With different ride options, there is something for all levels of cyclists.

    Are you looking for a relaxing ride along quiet scenic roads around Silver Lake and the Letchworth valley? Then the Loop de Lake is for you! 17 miles of a mostly flat ride around Silver Lake and along the surrounding countryside. This family friendly ride with have everyone smiling with joy.

    If a more challenging day is what you prefer, then ride the Letchworth Loop. This ride will take you 53 miles with 3000' of climbing up and down hills through Wyoming County and Letchworth Park - the "Grand Canyon of the East". 

    Both rides are fully supported and have fully stocked rest stops along the route. After you finish, enjoy the rest of the day exploring the downtown Perry Chalk Arts Festival and the Taste of Summer Dining Event - neither is to be missed!

    Chalk will fly again on July 14th, for the Chalk Art Festival and Taste of Summer on this special day downtown that we look forward to all year! 

    This year's theme for the fabulous temporary of the chalk artists is 'Illusions'.

    Hungry already? Don't worry - the Taste of Summer, featuring creative cuisine from talented regional chefs runs from 12-2:30pm!

    Together with the Chalk Art Festival, you'll find the weekly Perry Farmer's Market (PFM) offers fresh produce, flowers, baked goods and much more along with live music and other entertainment with the Saturday Summer Arts Series.

    The 2018 rain date for the Chalk Art Festival is 7/21. The Taste of Summer is a rain or shine event!

Trained artists create pastel masterpieces, teens compete for chalking prizes, and youngsters chalk to their heart's content. Enjoy live music, shopping and the Taste of Summer, where fine dining meets tent feasting. Check it out!

Tour de Perry —

A unique cycling event with two route options, each with fully stocked rest stops and friendly faces.

Both loops begin at the Village Park, and end on Main Street.

Founded in 2011, SOTL is Wyoming County's first live outdoor professional summer theatre festival, held in Perry on the shores of Silver Lake.

Pieces of Perry—Plein Air Festival

Join the artists who are painting, or watch them work en plein air on Saturday 9/16 along the Silver Lake Trail.  On Sunday 9/17, enjoy the exhibit and auction of the works created at the Hole in the Wall (Auction tickets $20; 585-237-3003).
