Main Street Association Public Meeting

Come brainstorm new ideas for Perry Main Street Association.
If you're not a member and wish to be one, it's free. Just send an email to rick@insitearch.com.
However, everyone - member and guest alike - is invited to this event which will detail upcoming events, recent accomplishments and solicit ideas for the future. Among these:

Main Street Master Plan
The Perry Main Street Association worked with the village to write a grant to the Genesee Transportation Council in 2006. We received the $50,000 grant, plus $5000 pledged by the Village, to hire consultants to work with the community on planning, design, and zoning recommendations for the downtown district. The PMSA created a steering committee to work with consultants.read more »

Perry Main Street Association
An empowerment coalition of over 100 local citizens committed to advocacy and action in support of downtown revitalization. Work includes promotion, rehabilitation, culture, long-range planning, recruitment. Membership is free. 3-4 public meetings per year keep the community abreast of activities and generate new ideas. Individual committees focus on specific projects.
Recent successes include a gateway signage program, a for-profit building rehabilitation organization, this website, securing of a grant to develop a Main Street Master Plan, and the launching of the Silver Lake Trail Association and a master plan for the recreation corridor linking downtown with Silver Lake and beyond.
