Perry Farmers' Market
Extending from the 3rd Saturday in June through the end of September annually, the Perry Farmers' Market - on the corner of Main Street and Borden Avenue - hosts fifteen to twenty vendors offering a dazzling array of produce for area residents. It runs from 8:30-12:30pm.
The morning market features vendors providing fresh fruits and vegetables, maple and honey products, meats, fresh baked breads, scones, and pies, chocolates, cut flowers and hanging baskets, certified organic chickens and produce, and many other unique and homemade products
Through the Summer Saturday Arts Series, the market will also host live music weekly at 10 o'clock from regionally acclaimed performers. In addition, there will be cooking demonstrations from local chefs, craft, bead-making, flintknapping, spinning, stained glass and pottery demonstrations, Irish dancing, and kids' activities such as face painting, custom cartoons and magicians.
Area restaurants take turns hosting a booth each week to offer refreshments and lunch, and the Arts Council sponsors a booth to permit area artists to display and sell their work.
