Held annually on the first Sunday of August since 1872, the Pioneer Picnic initially honored the first settlers and continues as an entertaining day of food, music and tours of artifacts housed in the Pioneer Cabin and museum. 

Attend the picnic, visit the one-room schoolhouse and Perry's first church building—which is also on the Pioneer grounds.

With a great entertainment lineup this promises to be an excellent day -- the chicken BBQ will begin at 12pm.
